Sigiriya Rock Gate Resort, Sigiriya

I had a lovely stay at this resort, enjoying the serene environment and the breathtaking views. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were impressive, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. However, the dining experience was not as great, as the menu options were limited. The service was outstanding, and I particularly appreciated the efforts made to help me understand the local cuisine.

My stay at the resort was mostly enjoyable, with clean and comfortable accommodations that made me feel right at home. The friendly family running the place were fantastic, offering home-cooked meals that were among the best Sri Lankan dishes I’ve had. While the location felt wonderfully secluded, it was conveniently just a short drive to local attractions. I did wish there were a few more amenities included, as the facilities could use a touch more flair, but overall, it was a good value for what I paid.
